A wig covers the full scalp and can change your color, length, texture and overall style. A topper adds coverage mainly through the part, crown or top of the head and is designed to blend with your own hair. The right option depends on where you need coverage, how much biological hair you want to leave visible and how you prefer to attach the piece.

Compare shades in indirect natural daylight without filters. For a topper, prioritize the hair that will sit next to and over the piece—usually the root, part and upper lengths. For extensions, match the mid-lengths and ends rather than the root. If you want help, send clear front, side and back photos taken near a window.

Human hair offers the most natural movement and the greatest styling flexibility, but it requires regular washing, conditioning and restyling. Synthetic fiber holds its factory style with less daily work and is often lighter on maintenance. Standard synthetic fiber cannot be heat styled; heat-friendly fiber can only be heated within the product's stated temperature limit.

Measure from the crown or attachment area to where you want the ends to fall. The same listed length looks different depending on your height, neck length, curl pattern and where the piece sits. Curly and wavy styles appear shorter than straight hair measured at the same stretched length.

The base should extend beyond the area of thinning so the clips can attach to stronger hair. A base that is too small may sit inside the thinning area and place unnecessary tension on fragile strands. Compare the product's base measurements with the area you want to cover; contact us before ordering if the edge would sit on sparse hair.

It should feel secure without pressure, pinching or a headache. The front should sit at your natural hairline, the ear tabs should be even and the nape should lie flat. Use the internal adjusters for small changes; do not overtighten them to correct an incorrect cap size.

Use a soft tape measure with hair flattened close to the head. The primary measurement is the circumference: start at the natural front hairline, pass above both ears, around the occipital bone and return to the front. A correctly fitted topper worn on healthy anchor hair should not feel painful. Damage is more likely when clips are attached repeatedly to fragile areas, the base is too small, or the piece is pulled off with clips closed. Open every clip before removal, avoid excessive tension and rotate placement when appropriate. Stop wearing it and seek professional advice if you notice soreness or breakage.

We do not recommend sleeping or showering in removable wigs and toppers. Friction, steam and prolonged moisture can cause tangling and premature wear. Pool and seawater can affect color, fiber and construction; use a separate swim piece only if it is designed for that purpose.

A wig cap is optional. It can keep biological hair flat, absorb perspiration and create a smoother surface, but some wearers prefer direct contact for comfort. Choose a breathable cap that does not create pressure or interfere with the fit.

Wash according to wear, sweat, climate and product buildup rather than a fixed calendar. If the hair feels coated, looks dull, holds odor or no longer styles normally, it may be ready for a gentle wash. Overwashing can shorten the useful life of both the hair and the construction.

Work on dry hair unless the product instructions say otherwise. Hold the hair or support the base, begin at the ends and move upward in small sections. Use a wide-tooth comb, loop brush or tool recommended for the fiber. Never force a brush through resistance.

Only when the product page confirms that the fiber is suitable. Standard synthetic fiber can melt or permanently frizz under heat. Heat-friendly synthetic fiber must remain within its stated limit. For human hair, apply heat protectant, use the lowest effective temperature and keep hot tools away from lace, silk bases, knots and bonded areas.

Do not color synthetic fiber. Human hair pieces are normally processed before sale, so further chemical work can produce uneven color, dryness or shedding. Never bleach without assessment by a colorist experienced with wigs and toppers. Any alteration should begin with a hidden strand test and may affect return eligibility.

The nape rubs against skin, collars, scarves and coats throughout the day. Longer hair, curls and lighter processed shades can require more frequent attention. Detangle gently after wear, keep products light and reduce contact with rough fabrics.

Store it completely dry and gently detangled on a suitable stand or mannequin head, away from direct sunlight, steam, high heat and dust. For travel, use a structured box or breathable case that prevents crushing.

A small amount can occur during brushing, washing and regular wear. Sudden heavy shedding is not normal and may indicate excess tension, rough handling, product buildup or damage to the base. Pause styling and contact us with photos if the change is significant.

Screens, room lighting and camera exposure can shift color. Multi-tonal shades may also look warmer or cooler in different environments. Review all product images and compare the shade in natural daylight when your order arrives, before making any alteration.

Small variations can occur between production batches and are more noticeable in highlighted, rooted and blended shades. Human hair can also vary slightly in texture and how it reflects light. This is normal within reasonable manufacturing tolerance.

Density describes the overall amount of hair and how full the finished style appears. Base size refers to the area of the scalp covered by a topper or the construction dimensions listed for a piece. A larger base does not automatically mean greater density.

Lace, monofilament and silk-style constructions are designed to imitate the appearance of hair emerging from the scalp. The effect depends on the material, knotting method, hair color, density and lighting. Product close-ups show the construction used for each model.

Yes, but cutting, coloring, adding adhesive or altering the base is generally permanent. Confirm the fit, color and construction first, then use a stylist experienced with alternative hair. Review the return policy before making any change.

Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation. Tracking may take time to update after a label is created. If the estimated delivery window has passed without movement, contact us with your order number.

Contact us as soon as possible. We can only change or cancel an order before it enters processing or ships, and a request does not guarantee that the change can be completed.

Review the current return policy first. Check the product, shade, length and construction while keeping all packaging, tags and hygiene seals intact. Do not cut, wash, style, color, apply fragrance or wear the piece for an extended period until you are certain it is suitable.

Keep the shipping carton and all packaging. Photograph the parcel, label, product and any visible damage, then contact us promptly with your order number. Do not alter or discard the item while the issue is being reviewed.
